"Civil War" is a set of collectable trading cards issued in the early 1960s by Topps depicting scenes from the American Civil War.
The complete set consists of 88 cards, including a checklist, and was first printed for the United States market in 1962 to coincide with the centennial of the Civil War. A similar series with the same artwork was later issued in Canada, and A&BC produced a similar set in England in 1965 along with a french language variation for the French market. A Spanish version was issued in 1968, with predominantly different artwork.
Over the years they have become known as "Civil War News" because of the header on the card backs.
By using the tabs at the top of the page you can view quality images of all the cards issued. This includes a complete collection of the extremely rare Spanish version, plus some of the original and unused artwork I have found.
